The Opportunity:

As we continue to focus on providing best in class solutions to our internal and external customers, Racing Victoria is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Digital Transformation and Technology. The role will take ownership for the design, development, enhancement and support of Racing Victoria’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform.

Your day to day activities will consist of, but not be limited to:

  • Providing ongoing technical & architectural design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Racing Victoria’s Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Participating in the end to end design and development of technical changes for existing and new features that meet business requirements while aligning with Racing Victoria’s design/development standards and technology stack.
  • Performing development tasks for Dynamics CRM including data uploads, integration from/to other related RV databases, Azure service buses and APIs.
  • Completing development tasks that involve CRM back end, front end (configuration/customisation), UI, plugins and reporting.
  • Assisting with operational support of the platform resulting from user raised incidents, bug fixes, BAU support tasks whilst also working on assigned project tasks.
  • Liaising with software developers, business analysts, testers and product owners to efficiently deliver high quality work in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and improving the overall quality of the code base.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation relating to software development and enhancements.

About you:

  • Proven experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 in the following areas:
    • Architectural, configuration and data model changes
    • Off the shelf configuration and customisation
    • Creation of complex plugins and workflows
    • Customised data integration solutions with local and 3rd party data sources
    • Online portals/Public facing interfaces/ CRM Online design
    • Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 architecture
  • Proven understanding and experience in web application architecture, object-oriented software and MVC design patterns
  • Sound development experience and understanding of:
    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 (modules including Sales, Service, Social Engagement)
    • Microsoft Dynamics Portals
    • Integration of data between CRM and other databases (SQL Server & Oracle)
    • .Net framework
    • C# and ASP.net.
    • Microservices, CQRS and event sourcing patterns
    • API’s and restful design patterns.
    • TDD, utilising unit testing, CI and deployment.
    • Microsoft Azure
    • All stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience that would be an advantage:
    • AWS Cloud servcies
    • SQL scripting using PL/SQL (Oracle)
  • Solid understanding and experience working in an Agile framework delivery environment (i.e. Scrum/Kanban)
  • Team focused with sound organisational skills and proven experience collaborating in an Agile environment.
  • Customer-focussed with an ability to drive positive business outcomes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills which facilitate effective interaction with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Degree in Software Development or related Information Technology discipline.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification
