Racing Victoria (RV) is one of Australia’s leading sporting organisations, and the independent governing body of thoroughbred racing in Victoria. We develop, promote and manage the conduct of the racing of thoroughbred horses in Victoria to safeguard its integrity.
RV is looking for a suitably qualified Finance ERP Project Manager to join our technology team, reporting to the Finance Operational Systems Lead.
What we are looking for:
The Finance ERP Project Manager is a full-time, fixed term position intended to help drive the transformation of the Finance area of Racing Victoria. This role is specifically focused on managing the successful roll-out of Racing Victoria’s new SaaS Finance System.
The Finance ERP Project Manager is expected to work effectively across business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technical team members to ensure appropriate planning and deliver of the program of work.
They will leverage their experience in finance systems and systems implementations to develop appropriate plans, along with team, reporting and governance structures for the program of work.
The term of the position is 15 months (with possibility of extension)
About the role:
As key member of the project team, the Finance ERP Project Manager is responsible for:
- Developing comprehensive plans and approach at all levels of the project structure
- Providing clarity to project stakeholders on the status of the project through both formal and informal forums and channels
- Providing clear communication of requirements and expectations to the team
- Leading team members familiar with Agile ways of working and those that are not
- Regular reporting of project status to Agile Steering Committee
