The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary and Biosecurity Services Coordinator to join Racing Victoria with our Veterinary Department.
This role will see you: coordinate administrative processes and provide administrative support for the Veterinary Services Department; Assist in the management of the Racing Victoria Equine Drug Control Program; and Assist the Biosecurity Manager in the management of the Werribee International Horse Centre.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating key Veterinary databases; provide procurement and finance advice, invoice processing and system support for the department as well as assisting with on track audits of Veterinary Services Raceday staff.
This full time role, that includes some weekend work as required, will see you develop in the role as it progresses overtime.
About You:
You will understand the Victorian Thoroughbred Industry and have the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity working as part of the Racing Victoria Integrity team. You will have a high attention to detail paired with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs. You will have the ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships with a range of stakeholders and will anticipate and be responsive to both internal and external stakeholder needs.
